Ron Laskey

Professor Ronald Laskey FRS is a cell biologist and cancer researcher. He is the Charles Darwin Professor of Embryology at the University of Cambridge. He founded the Medical Research Council Cancer Cell Unit in 2001,[1] and was Director of the Unit until 2010. He was awarded the Royal Society's Royal Medal in 2009, for his "pivotal contributions to our understanding of the control of DNA replication and nuclear protein transport, which has led to a novel screening method for cancer diagnosis".[2]

Ron Laskey is also a Fellow of Darwin College, Cambridge. [3]
